Many of you have been waiting for the announcement of the our first event so here it is!
To commemorate for the upcoming London Summer Olympics, Pokejinka park will be hosting it's own Pokeathlon event.
The event will held July 27th @9:00am PDT - August 17th
Members
DO NOT have to participate, but hey, you'll be missing out on a great chance to earn points, even if you don't plan on winning.
This summer, the Pokeathlon is hosting 5 activities:((the link beside each activity shows a screenshot from the game, for anyone who needs visuals))- Hurdle Dash [link]
A maximum of 12 Pokeathletes compete against one another in a race down a track with hurdles standing every so often for the pokemon to jump over.
- Block Smash [link]
4 Pokéathletes, one from each team, against a stack of ten cement blocks. The Pokémon must demonstrate its might by breaking through them as quickly as possible.
- Goal Roll [link]
A 4-corner soccer match with 3 pokemon from each team. Teams will be out once they've been scored on so choose your goalie wisely! The last team standing wins!
- Pennant Capture [link]
Brings the Pokéathletes into a sandbox-like area, where small pennant flags appear every so often. Pokémon must bring as many flags as possible back to the starting position in the allotted time.
- Disc Catch [link]
12 Pokéathletes lines up on a small pier in the middle of the ocean, where they must catch discs that are thrown through the air at them. Gotta catch them all!
What you are allowed to draw:- Your pokemon participating in an activity
- Your pokemon cheering for an activity
- Multiple characters
- You MUST include your character in the entry
What you are NOT allowed to draw:- Things that are irrelevant to the event
- Things that break the general group rules
We will be picking a winner from each activity, that means we will have a total of 5 winners.
You may only enter once so choose your activity wisely and make sure you do your best!

SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE TITLED WITH THE NAME OF THE EVENT (Pokéathlon) or the name of the activity (e.g. PKJP: Hurdle Dash)You must state in the artist's description what area you are from. Failing to do so will result in no points given, so make sure you do that!
Please submit your entry into the correct activity folder. (If you drew an entry for the hurdle dash, please submit your drawing to the hurdle dash folder)
The EXP system remains the same and
all submissions (winners or not) will receive an extra 5 EXP on top of what the drawing is worth.For this event, we will not be accepting literature, sorry to our writers out there! There will be future events that allow written work so don't worry too much about it.
As stated above, you may only submit one entry and you must only choose 1 activity. If you wish you change your entry, just send the group a note with a link to the new entry and remove the old one from the group.
